Racking systems have an immensely high value in the building materials industry. The storage function is one of the most important features of the building materials trade and industry for a variety of different small and large items.

The storage of building materials in the retailer's warehouse requires various shelving systems. A distinction is made between shelving for the warehouse and for the salesroom. Some articles in the building materials industry are very bulky, so they cannot be stored in classic pallet racks. Cantilever racks are therefore particularly suitable for long materials such as drywall profiles or drainage pipes, wooden boards and bars.

Cantilever racking consists of stable IPE uprights with cantilever arms on which the long goods can be placed. A distinction is made between single-sided and double-sided cantilever racking, depending on the location. Galvanised racking variants are available especially for outdoor use. These can be fitted with roof constructions at the customer's request.
